Summary

With the passage of the Provide Accurate Information Directly (PAID) Act, the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) statute is amended to eventually require Medicare return Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage) and Part D (Medicare Prescription Drug) coverage information to insurance carriers and self-insureds through the Section 111 Medicare query process. There will be a one year implementation period, it is important for practitioners to understand how this may change the landscape of Medicare recovery. In this WILG webinar, Shawn Deane, General Counsel with Ametros Financial Corporation, will provide:

Background on the PAID Act
Overview and Requirements of the law
Implications and practical effects of PAID Act in handling and settling claims
